Five Year bets

Look at a representative yield curve, government paper. The five year mark splits the cliff, my entropy detector says there is some yield curve to claim, in the name of maximum entropy. So, if one makes a bet, bet there, the best arbitrage spot.

What to bet on? Dunno about you, but I have my Transportation Automation Index. Here are my category picks:

1) Digitally assisted bus rapid transit technology
2) Communications for autos
3) Control by wire, components and integration
4) Embedded street light and sign technology
5) Asphalt trains and platooning systems for goods on rubber
6) After markets in congestion utilization
7) Black box integration for cars
8) Modular interconnect technology for laser and vision sensors.
9) Out of channel emergency safe stop and human protect systems.
10) Vision technology at all levels
11) New companies with critical components of software at all levels.

Weed through the sector, plopping down small cash in small caps that meet my category picks. Jump a little when a vendor lands a deal in a metropolitan system. You are looking for the vendors that have some near term deployment of one of the critical technologies.

We need a better market for specialized start ups in these groups, sensible teams who get the program should offer stock in reasonable time. Otherwise look for special purpose corporate spin offs, jumping into the market with ready technology.
