Patent trolls don't scare me

Intellectual Ventures occupies a special place among patent holding companies. The company has for years been amassing thousands of patents and inviting companies to become “investors” in its investment funds. Critics say the practice amounts to extortion and describe I.V. as a giant patent troll.

The patent troll has one big problem, software goes anywhere, almost on its power. Ultimately they have to chase down every last user who has down loaded from a share file server. The micros are fast, damn fast. So they are all programmed and the software replaceable.

And of course, I make sure of 30 years of prior art, build the result around a base that 30 years. From there I retain the semantics of the prior art.
