The effective wavelength of an order

I am looking at the idea that Steve Hawkins alluded to.
The Nyquist vacuum allocates energy in slices among orders. In a sparse system, the complete sequence includes mass, wave and kinetic.  That system may accept the  null points, mass, from a region that was previously compact. Thus in the evolution, one gets the effective boundary, for quite some time until compaction continues and the mass ratios redone.
Hence the need for the pseudo order to complete the sequence division.
