Larry Summers, please data check youself

Larry says: Historical experience is that inflation accelerates only slowly so the costs of an overshoot on inflation are small and reversible with standard tightening policies. 




The graph on the left is implicit price deflator, known as inflation. The grey bars are recession. Note the relationship, a rise in inflation yields a recession, almost all the time.

Please, economists, data check yourself or you will be called out as liars and frauds.
