Why do we have sticky wages?

Because we have families; so we go home, spend leisure time and sleep at night. Hence the transaction rate for working is bound and that band limits the adjustment process. A band limited process is finite and quantized when redundancy is removed. Duality applies to money it it is neutral, so wages will be equally quantized.
