For the unitiatied, upgrading  Ubuntu, or any Linux, involves the terminal mode hieroglyphics. Bring up a terminal window, type lines and lines, no English words allow, and subtract every other vowel. That does not mean it is solved, what that means is continue using the older version of Ubuntu and wait for the industry to catch up.

The idea of usable is not to play the game of who knows the most hieroglyphics. Let me repeat, playing the hieroglyphic game is a losing strategy.
