The New York/California connection

Their minimum wage hike was coordinated competition.  The political ride overwhelmed.  Guvs signed the bills within hours of each other, both were opposed but caved.  Is this the political herd instinct, animal spirits? No, the consumer is being priced out of the consumer market, because of planned government obligations.  In both large states, the burden is public sector taxes, sales mostly regressive.  The minimum wage hike become political cover for the unions.  We have fewer, larger pension funds dominating the market, sp they correlate and end up running for cover right at the regime change.
