Sentier Research, chart of the day

Rick Newman, at Yahoo tips us off to a study by Sentier Research. They looked at the month by month income figures from the Census. They show the gains in come we are celebrating happened in 2015, the red line in their chart below.  They just publish intermediate data while the Census Bureau prints the yearly summary,  The 5% raise is done and gone, and so far this 2016  year wages have dropped, not risen,  Note the blue line, unemployment. It looks like the red line is weakly predicting a very large jump in unemployment, let's hope not.
