Every generation the helicopter flies and prices distorted and we spend  a third of our working career on getting prices back in order.  

Money,over the cycle, tends to be price accurate, inflation zero.  But it can only do that when the helicopter dumps loose cash, free and unencumbered money to support real growth.

Why is this not some nutty theory?  Because of you shorten the helicopter transit rate to three years, you let it go bi-directional, the  the chart above is reshaped, it looks much better, like we are getting price discovery, secure digits are moving.

The drunken flights are still drunk, or appear so.  They are small bytes of the apple that show up and threaten liquidity reserves, the spreadsheet algorithm burps retro active rates.  But, that is the whole point, find and monetize the drunks, they are doing stuff significant in the economy.
