Advice to the telephone makers

Yout digital phones are great, you have one problem.  Technologists put money in them, the money gets hacked, and the user no longer uses the telephone.  The telephone is supposed to be hacked now and then, we occasionally take crank calls; that's the fun of it.  We are not at risk, we can download our 2 kbytes messages and phone numbers to restore a hacked phone.  We can't get the dough-re-me back.

You are better off putting the money inside the smart card, then building a great interface to manage the smart card.  The smart card will be unhackable, us rednecks will make sure of that.
