They have the shortest path. Their people are inside feeding estimates feed back to GS. GS is putting these estimates to a coefficient and dumping it into the Congressional cash flow model, they are computing probabilities of debt bid/ask .
But, the debt cartel needs to raise rates right away, to reveal an estimate of the future, and see if the US Senate is OK with that. They have to share the book.
The US Senate is gone home, drunk, the Swamp is on autopilot. So the debt cartel has no choice, they have to scoop up larger interest payments today until the drunks come home and figure this out.
