Facebook attempts first drone delivery of paper messages

Facebook's drone Aquila was "substantially damaged" during its first test flight due to unexpected turbulence that damaged its right wing, according to a report from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) on Friday.
The social-networking company had begun direct competition with Amazon in direct delivery by drone.  The new team will transcribe messages to paper, and have them parachuted to somewhere near your neighborhood, depending on wind conditions.  Their first delivery failed.
