US growth over the monetary cycle


Note the stable growth recently? We did sequester and it worked.
Note the stable growth in the 90s? Clinton did a surplus, it worked.

The Clinton recession was revised away, Obama never had one. Both policies fit the class of austerity, and both worked. 

Carmen Reinhart and Ken Rogoff were absolutely correct, and look no further than the Trump hump to measure rate volatility when debt is high.
