McBride thinks Magic Walrus will pay the bills

Unfortunately "debt ceiling" sounds virtuous, but it isn't - it is actually a question of "paying the bills".
McBride is our usual boy scout, but he misses a point.

We do not have to pay the bills.  We have increasing options to use other means for currency from food stamps to overseas shell companies to an expanding black market to the use of unregulated crypto, including a gold backed crypto coin.

In fact,McBride misses the pint that we actually avoid payments once a generation during regime change, which is today.    The odds are almost 85%, based on history, that we will fail to pay the bills either during the current or during the next downturn.
