State-crushing ‘California rule’ on pensions must go

This is the San Diego Union bitching because governments obey this law.  The law is a contract, a valid verbal agreement widely accepted and the State Supreme Court has no basis to overturn it.  It violates no body of law known in California.

The solution is to put a clause in writing that eliminates the verbal  agreement.  If the unions disagree, then stop funding.  That is how it works.

If you go to the Cal Supreme Court to abrogate a verbal agreement, then you have to rely on Jerry Brown directing the State Supreme Court which is the worst thing you can do.  Remember, Gavin the child molestor is our next union appointed governor. You do not want to give the child molestor authority over the Cal Supreme Court.
