Look at the chart, Mr. Wren Lewis. What is not shown is that the Trumpster has just driven the deficit way up (down in the chart). And we can see that deficits always precede recessions, and you Mr. Wren-lewi have no other proof for your kanosian talking points. Yes, you did quote a 'meta' analysis which was worthless for the US. This chart is relevant, and it disproves your junk talking points. You and your pals are recession planners, not counter cyclical policy makers. Our receion is now happening right where Paul Krugman planned it when he advocated all that debt and entitlements in 2010.
