I dunno, some crap going on un Ruskieland don't smell right.
Could be the unknown bit of economic crashing to be revealed later. They have 1.8-2.0 percent growth. But reliant on oil exports against marginal producers, so that trade isn't putting them ahead.
They can't afford the military as they don't have a supporting civilian capacity. Then the ongoing military operations add strain. A couple of medium banks gone under and banking sector weak, underdeveloped.
Putin does a lot of faking, but the oligarchs are a bit trapped, unable to produce a investment sector. The shady nature of post-commie wealth still fouls the air back there.
