Attempting to form a government. They will negotiate for partial default, covered by Germany. Merkel will take the deal, leaving loose change in Italy. Ihe loose change eventually buying goodies from Germany. Just keeping the engine warm and natives diverted.
My opinion is that internal Italian politics are a nightmare. That nightmare might come back to haunt Merkel making a difficult deal, especially with the never ending Greek tragedy.
