Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, idiot

Statistics of mass shootings tell us no Texas politician should be planning gun giveaways. So how incredibly  idiotic for Abbott to do exactly that.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has canceled plans to give away a "Texas-made shotgun" after a gunman used such a weapon while shooting to death 10 people at Santa Fe High School on Friday, Politico reported on Monday.
A spokesman for Abbott, a Republican, said the campaign raffle will go ahead, but the winner will instead receive a $250 gift card.
