Zuck wants to patent the coffee machine

An illustration for the patent details a chat between a consumer and a coffee shop bot. After the bot tells the user the price of a beverage, the user is able to confirm that they want to purchase the item. If the user agrees, the bot is able to ask for a payment method and place the order.
The idea is to find any any fool who purchased coffee from a machine, and ding that poor fool with fees. I am sure the patent office will go along.

This illustrates the incredible stupidity of our software patent laws.  Anything done in common for thousands of years can be patented by inventing new names and adding a bit of digital. We would hope a patent officer would note this patent is for the common everyday coffee machine, has no value.
