A clue

The pilot reportedly advised the crew to kill the power to a motor that was pointing the aircraft's nose downward. That move helped prevent a catastrophe, according to Bloomberg.

Why is that screw motor forcing a node down? I heard it was one stuck sensor.  Anyway, it is now beyond my knowledge, as I do not know which software has master control, are their two motors, one an override? Is the pilot notified of the condition?

Some collective information in the aircraft system software would have known, but what ever controlled the motor did not have that info. That is an error.

This is sudden stop, of moderate persuasion. Except, Boeing is our favored exported, we will have a multiplier.  Random events protrude in the economy as Black Swans because we have much less liquidity, unable to adjust quickly so modest stops become significant..
