Carbon taxes subsidize co2 pollution

Energy regulation, climate change policy, is impacting local firms, LA County business leaders say
One issue discussed was how the state invests proceeds from its cap-and-trade program, which requires large industrial firms to purchase allowances to emit greenhouse gasses. According to the law, 25 percent of the state’s revenue must be spent on improving public health in disadvantaged communities.
This is not co2 mitigation, this is co2 expansion. The Greens will declare that it is OK to melt ice without justification as long as one deeclares oneself to be a moral person.

I think that includes all of us, as the business leaders argue.  Business, they claim, is more Green that California politicians, including the self declaration of morality.  When you here 'Green' think, inefficient energy use, melting more ice.
