A good conclusion amidst a bunch of politically correct yahoo

It’s Lights Out in California
Under its state-mandated wildfire safety plan, PG&E said it would install stronger utility poles and make other grid improvements to more than 7,000 miles of power lines over the next 10 years. The company also said it would work to clear vegetation, inspect power lines, install sensors and cameras, and take other measures to reduce fire risk.

Yes, this is what California legislature should demand of PGE.  A lot of it common sense having nothing to do with climaqte change, and a lot of it upgrading technology for fairly cheap.

Scientific American authors By  on

The authors confuse the issue, because the common sense mandate on PGE outlined above is one of about five other mandates to PGE thrown about by the legislature, the others having nothing to do with energy, an mostly about fouling up energy supplies. All the other destructive mandates came from scientists faking the politically correct.

Scientific American authors should know I spot this politically correct crap. It was the Sierra club arguing for less clear cut around power lines. If you secure the power lines, then the Sierra club will find other mechanism to start fires.

So, get a clue, remember Gray Davis and supply controls, summer switch over on gas, solar emphasis and electric cars; all of which cause volatility in energy usage, contribute to power surges, unnecessarily, and are caused by politically correct idiots giving advice to our legislature.
