Consumer prices too high

Note oil prices and the CPI (including oil prices). They have diverted since 2015. But the dollar has kept growing in value over the period.  Something has to give.  The dollar is growing due to global flight to cash.

Something seems amiss, the American consumer is not going to carry the load on growth.  Congress is broke, potential loss write offs are visible.
