Impoverished children with access to food stamps become healthier and wealthier adults

An astounding discovery by a bunch of economists, Children who eat well do better.  How did the human race survive a million years and not know this!!

These authors offer nothing to explain, which children, How do children get their food allocated.  My guess is that the typical two period mom parent would read this and set up an improved diet for her children, except she/he already knew his by the age of 6.
