CDC Extends Social Distancing Guidelines To Apply To Pets

The virus enters a complex cell food supply in our body

All the cell reactions are like consumers in a complex ecology. The white cells, from the bone marrow, get tuned to a portion of virus. from the lymph system, and they gol hunting for food, in essence. The macro phages get first crack, they are from the thymus. and eat debris. But they emit cytokines which shuts down the debris flow from the tissues into the lymph, and this is severe swelling.

These cytokines are part of the cells basic ability to react to proteins outside the lipid layer, no cytoplasm lost. Cytoklin refers to the short chained proteins. In particular, the macorphases, opr the generic phagocyte, emits these, and some signal the lymph system.     Since the condition is considered a storm, it is congestion unmanaged, a requant.  So, there is a reaction between the phagocytes and the foreign proteins this is particular sensitive to these phagocytes, from the thymus.

Whew!!!

But why do we get out thymus cells get so sensitive to a particular type of molecule> It happen as we age, hmmm... Cause or effect?  The phagocytes love to eat corona, white cells never get a taste of them.  Either white never develops the taste, or phago just devours them? Our immunity to this viurs is short, white cells do not develop the taste.   So, allergies  are the inability to produce so many whites with varied tastes. We have a limited supply of differentiation in white cells. Don't waste them.

The majority of the young have white cell differentiation possibilities.  But if you are old, you white cells have been battling corona family virus for many years, your system is pooped.

Sounds like we have another coloring problem! Sandbox to the rescue.

Let us first note the docs job is more difficult than we imagined, because if the old have little white capacity, the the doc is relying on phagocyte, he is up against a hard bound. He needs a white cell anti-body booster.

Anyway, the white cell eats an anigen and multiplies!  The antigen feeds a white cell clone. And these clones hang around for years.  But corona clones have a wide distribution, and in that is the whole class of common colds.   There is no more room for another corona.

The lymph system in the middle of congestion will close, via cytokines.  It only wants completely digested material. This particular corona happens to be long lived and eventually tips the balance of the susceptible which shuts the lymph. If the doc forces the lymph open he risks heart damage because the lymph meets a big node up there. The doc needs something harmless which eats the temporary coron overload, direct, which shuts down the macrphage madness and opens the lymph.

Someone is getting a Nobel Banana on this.  Maybe a culture of specially trained anti-body, to be used only specific for this corona, or any other ARDS symptom.  Dangerous stunt, could lead to other infections.    Take the patients blood sample, get a white cell culture developed externally, using the proper corona sequence. Then inject it back. In fact, identify the susceptible before hand, create the culture, and keep a dose handy.

I cheat a bit since I know that genetic theory and information theory are well connected. But the white blood cells have to encode for the variety of the family. These cells will have limited genetic bandwidth, and there will exist a corona that is just outside its bound.

This is two channel constricted flow, antibody coding the corona family, a self sampling problem.  %he just enough new member of the virus will pass quickly through the population via aerosol. The more common corona reappear regularly and keep the anti-body channel busy, or packed.

The docs need to make a generic white cell culture based on this particular virus, one they can use anywhere.  Then in crisis, just unload the stuff and take the band width you need, keep flushing. The cytokine storm stopped.

Band limited under flow

So, as a child you develop an antibody for a benign food, but it hangs around. Your interaction with other antigens will be redistributed across the capacity,  antibody clones would be separated. Once your white cells get caught in a system supported by the environment   How do we reset the sequence?  On corona, we likely have limited capacity for that family, co-evolving with it.  If we find a vaccine against this virus, we likely over use the channel capacity and severe allergies show up elsewhere.  There is a reason for low immunity periods, there are a greater variety of this family coming and going. This is a channel encoding problem.

Since the immunity is short lived, the docs can use up the capacity for a short period, keeping the patient isolated. The the patient can re-introduce himself to the common cold.

I may be an asshole, but I am ill priored

My priors are more like random noise.
But I have a lot of this stuff nailed, especially understanding government as a value chain. And my recent discovery that between 1976 and 1981, the political swamp back there understood it as a value chain problem. Revenue sharing was a real program, had five years, and well loved. Them some arbitrage showed up, and when arbitrage shows in the swamp, it is stuck back in the sewage.

But it was the solution, no priors, ear marks or  Godots  But They did it in 1976, after the Nixon shock, and we cannot do it now with a Trump shock pending.

So to all those whom I have pissed off, you are welcome, we really do have a path, a path of recent memory. But we have to deal with the new fed contract, and I will be right on that too.

Not Godot, but Marx and Markov dealing with insufficient N.  N density is a disequilbrum, but we can contain it better, and it can adjust.  We might do weird things, like spend more time in Wyoming on cowboy adventures.

Mathematicians nailed it.

Two types of immune response

cytokines modulate the balance between humoral and cell-based immune responses
Says Wiki. The former is anti-body, the latter is cell defense with T-Cells:

Cell-mediated immunity is an immune response that does not involve antibodies. Rather, cell-mediated immunity is the activation of phagocytes, antigen-specific cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, and the release of various cytokines in response to antigen. Historically, the immune system was separated into two branches: humoral immunity, for which the protective function of immunization could be found in the humor (cell-free bodily fluid or serum) and cellular immunity, for which the protective function of immunization was associated with cells. CD4 cells or helper T cells provide protection against different pathogens.
The severe symptoms we see in inflammation is the latter cell immunity system out of balance. Causes ARDS, but ARDS for ore than one variety of corona, evidently.   Cytokine, small proteins,  trigger respiratory system to produce macrophages and the cytokines. The cytokine seem to effect lymph response, lymph is the drainage system.  Bad feedback loop in here somewhere.

You got to keep the little fillies in line

Hot Air:

Unbelievable. I bet all those women’s groups that held off criticizing Joe Biden over Tara Reade’s allegations are happy they held off going public now, eh? Biden has spent the past year pandering to women by promising to pick a female running mate. Today, his campaign announced that those candidates will have to pass through the vetting of former senator Chris Dodd, co-author of one of the most notorious stories of sexual harassment and assault from Capitol Hill.
There is a mass of the affirmatively activated in line for a job.

There's your intellectual mismatch

Trump Encouraged Sean Hannity To Go After The New York Times

Oil at $17

At least that value has a bit of rhyme with some memories. But the deflation wave has been released. We will see a second wave of deficits roll across the local municipalities which have been hoping on sales taxes. And we are in the muck, every group is talking the one way roads to Rome. we got path merging.

Revenue sharing is not new

My idea of a one time swap between House and state capitals. It's been done, the 1976 revenue sharing agreement. Good enough model.  Remembering the year 1976 was four years after the Nixon defaults, the pricing function simply wasn't working. So they partitioned.

Then the federal debt grew under high rates.

My corona model

I have the ARDS color, they under sample the infected who over sample.  My beach ball has the ARDS group surrounded by the infected and immune. My infected have the fastest sample rate.  My colors cannot overlap, naturally.  This means the ARDS group has a multiuide of paths merged to it, but it can only be one colored.

Who are the ARDS color? They are the triadic interventions, actually teams responding to an event, from all over the infected color.  They got economies of scale.  In relatistivic mode, they look like high rate color samplers, they take a lot of patients and have a larger queue variance.  But, convert to non relativistic, the the ARDS colors are big clinics, surrounded by neighboirhoods of infected and immune. I three colored my little town out here in California, be I do not have enough N to stop ongoing recoloring.

My point about the Huffman encoder. It works because node output is independent, rounded, but node input is Poisson. And we do that, this is the inventory equation at Walmart.

The key is to find the ARDS early, then your allergy clinics can take them by the hundreds, catch it early, fly out to Arizona for wo weeks to cover the allergy risk. There are only 5-8% of us ARDS, extend the immune time.  Hore it is seasonal, but this is the common cold, and that is repeatable.

Like nearly half infected at one time!!!  Yes, but of the common cold. This is the status quo ante. 5% of us have an allergy emergency, and they give us the two weeks. If you get the common cold, two days minimum at home, just in case.

But, this is maximum entropy, and N reasonably fixed, the solution to the common cold is that same for any three color, except for the occasional trip to Arizona. But that is free ranging, has the highest possible number of substitutes, merged paths.   So, folks alter their vacation plans on occasion. The Huffman encoder makes white, uniform. It is the solution against round noise. The bottom rung of Markov.

It is quasi stable with the N limit we have.  Keep the immune period longer,  the beach ball will not color with N limit,  there will be higher probability that some buttons are not colored, those buttons are extinct virus.

Rule by religious nuts

As if Iran wasn’t having enough problems during the pandemic already. They were among the slowest to respond to the novel coronavirus outbreak and they continued to allow regular flights to and from China until only recently. The percapita death toll in their nation was among the highest in the world and most average citizens couldn’t expect much help or relief from their corrupt government. And now, to top it all off, a rumor has been going around that drinking methanol (commonly known as methyl alcohol or wood alcohol) can stave off the virus or even cure COVID-19. The result? More than 700 people have died from methyl alcohol poisoning, and those are only the numbers that the government is willing to admit to. (Associated Press)

Hence the great fear of Pence, a religious nut like Pence would cause disunion, a general secession fro any state with a collective IQ greater than 100.  We should not risk it, not now. Pence is reason enough, so far, to vote for Biden, until we see him pick an affirmative action VP, then we are frigged either way.

After the pension bailouts, bet on that

"It's A Weapon For The US" - China Official Renews Calls To Dethrone The Dollar

Our Trumpster is  fairly corrupt.

All that affirmative action and we get another dirty old man

Despite Trump’s drop in approval, former Vice President Joe Biden maintains only a 6 point lead in the Presidential ballot test, 48% to 42%. This is the same numerical difference as last month’s poll, where Biden led Trump 53% to 47%. Ten-percent (10%) of voters said they were undecided, but when asked to choose a candidate they were leaning towards, undecided voters slightly broke in favor of Biden, 56% to 44%, giving Biden an additional 1 point advantage.
There is a reason, as Kamala learned.

Affirmative action appointees have one skill, their race or gender by definition.  If failure to bathe was an affirmative action event I would be your nominee.
Much like Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016, his supporters aren’t hugely excited about voting for him.
And according to the latest Emerson College Polling’s survey, Democrats appear to be throwing in the towel. While Biden leads President Trump in a head-to-head matchup, 48%-42%, when voters overall were asked who they really think will win in November, it’s a Trump blowout, 57%-43%. …
Emerson found that Trump has a sizable 19-point advantage in the enthusiasm gap, 64%-45%. Some 36% of his supporters said they are “extremely excited” to vote for Trump, 28% said they are “very excited.” For Biden, those numbers are 22% and 23%.
But the Trump enthused are mostly the small states. Trump automatically loses NY and CA.  He will have a even vote in Florida.  The polls in Florida show Biden mostly ahead by 2 or 3 points. If Trump loses Florida, his case is hopeless, so expect a lot of government giveaways and earmarks for Florida.

It is called voting in the legislature to cancel obligations

American States Are Already Free To Seek Shelter In Bankruptcy Court

The article cites past decisions on the contracts clause.

The Constitution’s “contract clause,” in Article I, Section 10, does bar states from impairing contracts and has therefore been held to prevent states from enacting their own state bankruptcy statutes.
States can pre-declare any contract is subject to cancellation, as long as no ex post facto is followed. So the states are left with the will of the legislature as long as they are willing to suffer lawsuits on the ex poste facto issue. But it really is immaterial. When a legislature votes that it is broke, then that vote holds.

Ex ante bankruptcy provisions are all about handling the legislated power to cancel contracts, and their is no provision against that since contracting parties were warned. The feds do it:
Almost every federal contract contains a clause allowing termination for convenience or default. Termination for convenience allows the federal government to terminate all or part of a contract for its convenience, while termination for default means the government doesn't think you're performing adequately.

I searched and searched for some lawyer that knew thee difference between state and federal contract obligations, and this is the best I found page ten in google:
Termination for convenience clauses are standard in public and private construction contracts and provide a means for one party to terminate a contract without breaching it. In the public sector, a government agency (whether federal, state, or local) typically may terminate a construction contract if the contracting officer determines that such action is in the "best interest" of the government.
The law is fairly confused, termination for convenience are common clauses.  This clause is the equivalent of a bankruptcy provision.   Lousy lawyers almost always foul this up, I am sure, so one way or the other, a state bankruptcy will generate hordes of lousy lawyers it seems. But most states will find that most contracts have this clause. Some states will discover they have hired lawyers dumber than a turnip.

What about California?
On pension contracts, we are bound and cannot escape I am sure, and I am equally sure California is run by lawyers dumber than turnips.  California will be in a mess and has no way out until Nancy engineers some complex mess of a massive federal stimulus bill, a months long process.  Local governments will be moribound waiting in expectation.  Houston, we have a problem.

Speaking of which, from history:
House Democrats will soon detail plans to get federal aid to state and local governments to help them weather the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass.) said today.
Provisions will include tax-advantaged borrowing programs, known as private activity bonds and Build America Bonds, Neal told members of the U.S. Conference of Mayors during a Zoom conversation. A former mayor himself, Neal said he also favors revenue-sharing arrangements similar to those of the 1980s.

OK, revenue sharing worked the last time gthe federal government defaulted. The states needed the money to reprice everything after Nixon decided the Vietnam was a fiasco not worth paying for.   Remember, it was the dumbshit small states who pushed and supported the fiasco, and at the time they deserved to get the shaft.
Now revenue-sharing is finished, a victim of the mounting Federal debt and a Washington tradition of preaching intergovernmental cooperation while practicing every-government-for-itself. After October, 80 percent of America's small towns - too small to mount expensive lobbying campaigns for grants from the huge Federal bureaucracies - will be disfranchised in terms of direct financial aid from the Government.
Exactly. After a bunch of idiotic senators from small states foul badly, eventually we punish them horribly for their ignorance.

The message here, for small and medium states, like Kentucky, you are going to get fucked royally because you are too fucking stupid to solve the earmark issue. We dp nopt care. Producing smart senators is the responsibility of the states, states who fail that premise are going to get screwed, and none of us will care, we are tired of boneheads, like that nut from Oklahoma.

It will not work long, the corruption in the Swamp ay too deep:

The idea [revenus sharing] provoked opposition from a formidable but disorganized coalition of House liberals who wanted to spend Federal money their way and conservatives who wanted to spend no money at all. Wilbur D. Mills, through whose Ways and Means Committee any bill would have to pass, told reporters: ''I'm going to hold hearings in order to kill it.''

In other words, our pundits have no clue and the 250 year old problem remains.  We have a mess, we are likely to do the midnight default over drinks, Nixon style.

Revenue-sharing was a success from the beginning. Big cities got a boost and small-town America could for the first time count on direct aid from Washington. There were no strings on how the money could be used, and the oversight requirements were simple. Every community had to hold public hearings on how the money would be spent; there could be no discrimination in its use; public audits would show how it had been spent. It was government at its finest: elected officials were given resources and authority and held accountable at the next election for what they had done.

And along came Nancy and the whole plot fell apart.

Horse manure

Jared Kushner: Much of the US Will Be ‘Back to Normal’ in June

The kid is an abject liar.

It is now the end of April.  This economy is not going to be ready in four weeks.  The federales  are now stuck permanently with the public sector pension systems, governments in California cannot afford to go back to work, it leads to immediate shutdown due to pension costs.

The federales have stepped into the mud, it will take them many more months to find their way out.
Starting on May 4, the Republican administration will be in Washington, the Republican Senate will be in Washington, and the locus of Democratic power in Washington—the House of Representatives—will be at home.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, speaking to the press in a conference call Tuesday morning, said he had changed his mind after speaking with the Capitol attending physician Monday evening. He cited the still-rising number of coronavirus cases in D.C., along with the hot spots of neighboring Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. Further, he said, the next major relief package that House Democrats are drafting—“CARES 2,” as they’re calling it—wouldn’t be ready for a vote anyway.

Jared and Trump are all about expanding the debt, but they have no quorum, the House is on strike.  The House will likely be on strike until Trumpster is ready to bail the public pensions.  Trumpster and Jared are lost at sea, have no clue.

Like lil Bush deliberately drove the economy to the ground?

An ex-speechwriter for former President George W. Bush on Tuesday argued that President Donald Trump is sacrificing the lives of other Americans to the coronavirus crisis in a “desperate” bid to save himself politically.
That would be David Frum

Odd how one nutcake Repub president gets away with fiasco but somehow the other Repub prez gets a pass.

A short comment on Poisson

I confuse myself on this.
Poisson measure in fixed units of time or space, it assumes flat earth.  The error processor or pit boss it a variable sample rate.  Things that are a high arrival rate are over sampled to compensate, and rare events undersampled.  This is why the Poison queue size becomes a rollover rate counter and appears much slower in the error process then when arriving. This is the Huffman encoding process, also the economy of scale effect also the maximizing entropy effect.

Self sampling systems automatically make the relativity adjustment.

So, I have t remember this, this is a relativity problem, but we can take Poisson queues and find their fixed constant and they become rate counters aligned to the number of steps taking by the coloring process. I take the process for granted and often forget to identify the economies of scale effect in sandbox.

I blame John McCain

The Navy's Zumwalt-Class 'Stealth' Destroyer Has One Big Problem
What is it really good for? Downsizing and Downgrades:

Despite the well-known difficulties of developing next-generation military systems, the Zumwalt had been sold to Congress based on unrealistic minimum-cost estimates. Eventually, program costs exceeded the budget by 50 percent, triggering an automatic cancelation according to the Nunn—McCurdy Act.

Already by 2008, the Navy sought to ditch building more than two Zumwalts in favor of procuring Arleigh Burke Flight III destroyers with ballistic-missile defense capabilities. Maine Senator Susan Collins nonetheless wrangled a third destroyer to keep her state’s Bath Iron Works shipyard in business. Each Zumwalt now costs $4.5 billion—in addition to the $10 billion spent on development. Like the troubled F-35 and Littoral Combat Ship, the Zumwalt’s spiraling costs were due to the Navy’s ambition to integrate completely new technologies still being concurrently developed. The final design was not even stabilized by the time construction began in 2009. The hybrid electrical system has proven especially challenging to integrate, leading the Zumwalt to break down while crossing the Panama Canal in November 2016.

Not your typical government fiasco

Coronavirus death toll in US now exceeds that of Vietnam War

Life is a surprise, and we have to deal with black swan and I am not trained in the specialty.

I can say one thing, this is a good an excuse as we get for whatever we will be doing.

How to Develop a COVID-19 Vaccine for All

I glanced through looking for a good methodology for vaccine development considering this is the common cold virus. The conundrum I can get in to in a moment.

But this guy told me his scheme for organizing large projects, like the Panama Canal, a great story on its upgrade, remarkable international cooperation. You tube has the video

But i digress. It is not the vaccine we need, it seems like 90% of us do just fine with the live vaccine. So building an anti-body defense against the whole family of corona is the vaccine for the common cold, and we been trying that for decades.

I need to tackle the macrophage out of control problem, cytokine storm, tackle that, cure the 4%.  How do we become extremely allergic to this particular corona, and is this related to other sever cold allergies?  Why do the allergies always involve this kind of macrophage problem?  Why are the ait passages mostly the victim of allergy?  There are docs on the job here, been on the job andhaving breakthroughs since before this corona, go find these docs.

Libertarians are not too compatible with unstable governments

Can a libertarian get past flat earthing?

Roger Stone, busted for tweeting

WASHINGTON (AP) — Weeks after Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel in the Russia investigation, Roger Stone, a confidant of President Donald Trump, reassured WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in a Twitter message that if prosecutors came after him, “I will bring down the entire house of cards,” according to FBI documents made public Tuesday.
The records reveal the extent of communications between Stone and Assange, whose anti-secrecy website published Democratic emails hacked by Russians during the 2016 presidential election, and underscore efforts by Trump allies to gain insight about the release of information they expected would embarrass Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.

I dunno what the charge is. I have blogged about state secession for a year and never got arrested.

Stone was publicly stating then, what we know then and now; the Mueller investigation was not about reality, it was about hysterical Hillary supporters needing some psycho therapy.  I looked at some of the Hillary supporting blogs, those folks we seriously in shock, like someone had been lying to them all their lives about American government and they suddenly discovered the truth. It was the infamous Wile E. Coyote moment.

What is worse than a Trump?

Here we go on Due Process

The decision to remove Yang “denies voters due process and denies voters the right to vote, and therefore must be invalidated removing the authority for the Defendant to take the actions complained of herein,” reads the lawsuit, which was shared with POLITICO. The lawsuit notes that neither Yang nor the delegate candidates asked to be removed from the ballot.

Mr. Yang, the federal judges would be stupid to touch some part of an internal party issue.  But your point, Due Process is a tricky one and causes the federal judges to take notice, it gets you into the court.  Due process is the catch all, it implies the right to sue state organizations. The outcome is unpredictable.

Cuomo may have erred.  As the political leader he can shut down his own party primary, but he had no right to shut down the Repub side. I am not sure how this goes, and it looks like a Supremes make shit up moment.

Here we have corroborating evidence of Due Process violation

New York presidential primary cancellation sparks progressive fury
The decision to cancel New York’s Democratic presidential primary in June is sparking backlash from progressives, potentially threatening the party’s goal of unifying its voters ahead of the general election.
Progressives argue the vote from Democrats on the State Board of Elections deprives their wing of the party from voicing their preference ahead of the Democratic National Convention in August.
While Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) suspended his campaign and endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden earlier this month, he plans to stay on the ballots in remaining contests in an effort to gather enough delegates to exert pressure on the party to adopt more progressive platforms at the convention.
We got ourselves a damn fine mess in NY.

Cuomo canceled the primary just in time

Pressure Mounts For Biden To Unseal Documents Related To Time In Senate, Tara Reade

Yes, I am marking Joe's words here.
Next up is California and Sanders has the delegate count.  So if the convention happens with Cuomo in charge of the NYC delegation, and Sanders up for a deal, well we got ourselves a contest!

US Probe: 'Circumstantial Evidence' Virus Did in Fact Escape From Wuhan Lab
The circumstantial evidence in the analysis points to WIV bat coronavirus researcher Shi Zhengli, and Dr. Wu Xiaohua's online campaign exposing COVID-19 is among the 50 in Shi's database.

Dr. Wu's website claimed Shi used lab animals in testing, one of which might have been point of origin for the global pandemic. Also, per the report, Dr. Wu report WIV animals have been sold as pets – potentially carrying the virus – and dead lab animals "were not properly disposed of, and lab workers were known to boil and eat laboratory-used eggs," according to the Times.
"Wu's charges of WIV management negligence are specific and have not been convincingly rebutted by WIV," according to the government analysis, per the Times.
OK, I am convinced.

I can help a bit, Kevin

What’s the Deal With Bayesian Statistics?

Nice illustration.

The key to understand the problem is that a conditional probability means correlation means off the path to equilibrium which requires equally surprising events A and B.

Thus the conditional probability cannot last as the economy adjusts, and flat earthers carry on the conditional, hedges assume it wall fade.

Hence the problem with Keynes. He always kept the private sector conditional on the public sector when the two groups actually tend to keep their distance so as to avoid the conditional.  Like in California, we all want to avoid having our lives conditional on the public sector unions and tend to avoid that situation.

This is equivalent to removing loops, what hedges do, minimize the deja vu issue.  Nancy has the same problem, she gets the 'Not another time around" because she needs to keep her programs conditional on the republican programs.  Our government thus engages in cycles, the loops never closing.

Glad to see Kevin look into this, it will lead him to closing the system and looking at the complete sequence.  Krugman only wants us looking only one cycle back, he does not want us seeing the constant deja vu moments.

Boy it is rather pleasing to see more and more pundits and economists figure this out.

Why do we periodically drift into perfect storms

While there is never a good time for a pandemic, the COVID-19 crisis has arrived at a particularly bad moment for the global economy. The world has long been drifting into a perfect storm of financial, political, socioeconomic, and environmental risks, all of which are now growing even more acute.
Noriel Roubine might have the answer, let us read.
NEW YORK – After the 2007-09 financial crisis, the imbalances and risks pervading the global economy were exacerbated by policy mistakes. So, rather than address the structural problems that the financial collapse and ensuing recession revealed, governments mostly kicked the can down the road, creating major downside risks that made another crisis inevitable.

We flat earthed it, that is kicking the can down the road.  Flat earthing needs an increasing N, we do not have that.

The road is not flat, it has curvature because we bring our problems from last time to this time and the flat surface curves, just like if you tried to three color a flat surface instead of a beach ball.

This is mostly a result of Keynes being a dunce in agglomeration theory. He should have read Markov.

I thought hating on the Jews was the first priority

Lebanon's Hezbollah criticizes c. bank over pound's collapse - report
Qassem said the "appropriate decision" must be taken to put the "country's interest ahead of all else" without further specifying.

Bearded religious guru discovers that one has to count properly first, then hating Jews second.  Seems obvious to me, but I guess religious fools are flat earthers.

Too late Munchkin head

(Bloomberg) -- Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said states that had poorly managed budgets before the Covid-19 outbreak sent their economies reeling should not be rescued by the federal government. “This isn’t just going to be a federal bailout of the states,” Mnuchin said early Tuesday on CNBC. “States that had specifically large expenses because of the coronavirus, like New York and New Jersey, it was the right thing that the federal government gave them money.” He said he approves of local governments using coronavirus funding to enforce public safety through law enforcement, but not for revenue lost because of the economic shutdown or “states that were mismanaged” before the pandemic hit.
it is a done deal, McConnell and Schumer will try to split the states on this.

It will happen pretty much as I outline in the posts below. Trump will go along out of fear of doing something stupid. The only stopping point is the House, they will not come back until this deal is done. And California will be on strike until the deal is done. Hedgies can bet this, it is a solid money maker.

Betting the flat earthers will correct

Well, forget about it. Jim Simons, the quant whiz who built teams of computer science wizards and math geniuses into Renaissance Technologies, is a once-in-a-lifetime talent. We learned from journalist Gregory Zuckerman that Simons’s fund returned an insane 40% annually. This year, according to Zuckerman, the firm’s flagship Medallion fund is up 24% after costs. Before fees, in the midst of the conoravirus crisis, the fund gained 39% YTD.
One of the investment advisers.  The hedges are betting that flat earthers in politics will soon correct their imbalances.  The imbalances have grown so deep that even the superwealthy are abandoning support for the primary dealer system.

This is a bet between those who close the circle, and the Krugmans who claim that the economy is flat and scales properly, the 50 little Hoover fraud.   So we will always be warned about this obvious fraud, and we will eventually figure out how to limit the damage.

Markov vs Krugman? No contest, Makov was and still is way ahead of the flat earthers and Markov forms the basis of these lucrative trades.

Barry is wrong about the computer power and algorithms.  The hedges do not need that, they need that coloring algorithm that is on the top right of my page list. From that they can derive the proper hedge moments as they know when the coloring tiles are out of balance and a flurry of color settings happen.  It is a racket until the total failure and regime change. It is all about running out of N, discovering the support is not there. Hedges can predict that moment by watching color imbalance.

Barry Ritholtz actually does no get Krugman's agglomeration theory, even though he directly interviewed the guy. All they talked was flat earth.

Kavanaugh did well on gun control? Did I mis-judge?

The city, wary of facing an unfavorable SCOTUS decision, changed the regulation. Kavanaugh sided with the majority in a 5-3 vote that the case had been made moot, and didn't need to be heard.
Yes, to declare this issue moot was correct.  The alternative was a mass of lawsuits via an ambiguous law.  I admit I may be wrong about Kavanaugh. The Instapundit nut is almost always wrong on this issue and is a pesky country lawyer trying to re-instate the King lovers, the fake Tea Party welfare bums. Constitutional law is fairly simple. The second part of the Second is best declared moot as the written law is very ambiguous.  Instapundit nuts are not smarr, at all, and I have quite reading their crap a long time ago.

But part of that case stands, the gun owners need access to interstate commerce in order to create the regulated militia. It is an interstate commerce issue and you need more than Instapundit's 100 point IQ to understand.

Chris Mathews vs Joe Biden

Journalist Details Latest ‘Very Credible’ Corroboration of Biden Allegations

Joe cops a feel.
Chris took the same attitude I would have. "Sure, I was an asshole and I deserve this". I give great credit to Chris, he knows a bit about our hangups, accepts the consequences.
Put Chris  back on, though he is still a rant n raver.

Have I been caught in a similar situation?  My emotional hangups are Catholic repressed and come out as a general rebellion against authority. So, yes,  got myself fired, justifiably, many times. Though I do know that many of the companies who fired me failed soon after. Often I would take matters in my own hand and quit. I never grew up, actually, still an adolescent.

The difference between Joe and my problem is the grandchild, I would have grabbed up a grandchild if one was presented, that was a good thing. But when one has the Mommy problem a bunch of good stuff passes you by.

We will have lockdown until the federales bail out the pensions

L.A. County leaders will create team to craft recovery roadmap, but stay-home orders still in place

They are at a sudden stop wit no recoverable path back.

At this point I would call it a strike by local California counties and cities. To open up the public sector is to expose all the politicians to the 'Where's my pension check' problem". Who wants to admit California is a failed state?

We get the pension bailouts now or this goes all the way through the national Dem convention and becomes a talking point.

No, just an ignorant Pompous ass

Communist Chinese Party Calls "Sinister" US Secretary Of State An "Enemy Of World Peace"

This is still about the Saudi oil deal.

If it were sedition I would be in jail

ASSANGE EXTRADITION: Espionage is the Charge, But He’s Really Accused of Sedition

I cannot thinks of anyone worse then me who has exposed the hopelessness of the unstable government structure we have. Who else has dared to revealed the idiocy of our defense procurement process. Who else has demanded we dig up John McMcain and hang his corpse. Who else has revealed the illusion of the two party system? Who else has predicted the meeting of the elders in the face of flat earthers? Who revealed the Reagan has a spider web for a brain? That the Tea party was just another bunch of King loving welfare bums?

There are still Jews in Iran?

I thought the bearded gurus kicked them all out.

Still marking Joe's words

So how does NYC pick delegates?

In dealing with this constitutional aspect it is necessary to observe at the outset, that with very few exceptions, our constitutions are entirely silent upon the question of conventions, caucuses, and nominations. The whole question is so new. that most of the existing constitutions, like that of Michigan, which went into effect in 1851, were enacted before the present interest in the matter had arisen. Under these circumstances, then, in most States, if any constitutional limitations exist they must be deduced from provisions of the constitution directed more immediately to other matters.
So, each party on NYC will internally select their won delegates, and that is going to be a friggen mess.   The virtual conventions will be decided by party elders on the phone.

Cuomo has head ot the NY party becomes king maker:
In that event, New York’s own Gov. Andrew Cuomo looks the most likely to benefit from a potentially contested nominating convention. Cuomo has been widely praised for his handling of the coronavirus in New York, so far the state hardest hit by the virus.
As the governor of the state at the pandemic’s frontline, Cuomo also has the campaigning advantage of a daily press platform, perhaps second only to the president’s, at a time when Biden has struggled to remain part of the news cycle.
So, yes indeed we should mark Joe's words about canceled elections.

Do not go to the Supremes with this, Sotomayor  will make shit up and cause a nightmare of lawsuits.

Trying to pick off the middle states

McConnell dangles aid to states — with a catch
In an interview on Monday, the Senate majority leader said it’s “highly likely” the next coronavirus response bill will aid local governments whose budgets have been decimated by lockdowns and now face spiraling deficits. But to unlock that money, McConnell said he will "insist" Congress limit the liabilities of health care workers, business owners and employees from lawsuits as they reopen in the coming weeks and months.
The distribution of states is not centered, this will result in a flurry of earmarks in the Senate, and that results in a flurry of pile on in the House.  The circle will not round until the House and Senate come to an institutional agreement abut the scale problem, they have to create a middle.

Looking at the distribution:
This is a queue, the small states are always last in line at the federal trough. It can only be rounded, under the current set up, by the sequence described above.  That does not hold, the House and enate do not have the bandwidth to handle the flurry of earmarks and special interests.  We fall back down the Markov and have another downturn.

The flurry of adjustments is simply Markov processes at work, just like Marx said.

Another make stuff up Supreme justice

New York City Thwarts the Second Amendment Revolution
But Brett Kavanaugh is itching to expand the right to bear arms ASAP.
There is ambiguity in the second, and whatever this simple minded fool wants us to believe will be overturned once again.  It is now Roberts, Sotomayor and Kragen in full make shit up mode, the Supremes will be jamming the courts for decades with confusion.  Kavamaugh does not have the brains to solve this problem.

The ambiguity is between our right to a regulated militia and what that means.  It means, via interstate commerce, that our official police forces need manufactures with the right to bear.  That is the strict definition, and adding a bunch of ignorant yahooism helps no one. Suggest the other Supremes star getting clues about what nutcase make shit up does to the court system.

Otherwise, I suggest a dis union as I cannot see the Constitution holding together with a make shit up judges. The alternative is that we just ignore the law and hide from the sheriff when they come for our property because of some make shit up ruling.  We have that problem in spades n California where the lawyers get continuing free passes to sue whoever they want.

Seriously, do we think Kavanaugh has the brains to figure out something new? We are dealing with 250 years of unresolved issues, I doubt a college kid will fix the mess.

Protecting the flat earth delusion

YouTube Censors Viral Video of Doctors Criticizing ‘Stay-at-Home’ Order

“When someone dies in this country right now, they’re not talking about the high blood pressure, the diabetes, the stroke. They’re saying ‘Did they die from COVID?'” Erickson said. “We’ve been to hundreds of autopsies. You don’t talk about one thing, you talk about comorbidities. ER doctors now [say] ‘It’s interesting when I’m writing about my death report, I’m being pressured to add COVID. Why is that?”

These are the Bakersfield docs going round the lop and having deja vu.  We have a serious piling on problem, the flat earthers trying to jump on the bandwagon and getting their errors fixed. Most of the pension systems were unsustainable anyway, the cities ere already shutting down.  Now the illusionists are sneaking in their correction.  Beware the Newsom protocol, he is in the loop walking in circles.

My Covid beleifs

I believed this corona was like the others and likely minimized to Asia.

So I read the news but basically ignored it as I had no opinion.  Then I began to read the technical literate and discovered the vaccine is not the solution, the severe allergic reaction in a small proportion of the population was the problem.

I let my search engine to the thinking, and it worked. One can actually drill down and find out what is happening.

Then I discovered economic modelers using Markov theory to find equilibriums and was astounded, wonderfully elated that some one can actually find likely equilibrium conditions. And that led me back to work a little more on self sampling systems. Now I want the text book written so we do not have to deal with the flat earth society.

Now we have the piling on problem and cannot distinguish the path to normality, we are spending time in a one color system with no path back. We will have the meeting of the elders,  slightly sooner than expected.

Ten years of flat earthers and all we did was another round around the loop. We cannot continue the ignorance.

A criminal case against Mueller

Explosive Revelations in the Flynn Case

Or a least one massive suit against the DOJ.  This will also apply to Roger Stone. The price of dealing with the progressive hysterics is way to high and we will have the meeting of the elders.

Exceept we do this every ten years

How to Develop a COVID-19 Vaccine for All
Strong health systems, adequate testing capacity, and an effective, universally available vaccine will be key to protecting societies from COVID-19. But ensuring that no one is left behind requires not just unprecedented collective investment, but also a very different approach to innovation.

Every ten years some nut cakes start proposing another set of reforms and innovation for the hospital system.

The one reform never settles until another is begun, the result is a string of losses.  Take for example that we bought into this new idea, then suddenly the idea loses favor as the medical taxes roll in. The  plan and the political party is sent to the wilderness for eight years.

My second objection is what does a vaccine do? It does not eliminate the virus, it lets the virus survive in our bodies without symptoms. This is not polio, the probability for wiping it out is slim. This is the same virus  family as the common cold, they tell me.

We need fewer flat earthers at these web sites. We need fewer grand plans from the illusionists who do not close the circle.

What happened to 50 little Hoovers?

As states exchange insults over who subsidizes who (yes, blue states subsidize red states), some people I've been talking to are suggesting that red states may face a worse fiscal crisis than blue this time around, bc of their different revenue bases

Flat earther cannot enclose the dots.

He has causality wrong. The red states are those that do not have the economies of scale vs those that do.  That scale effect causes the color separation. Look to the right on this blog and observe the new economic model on closing the loops.  Your flat earth theory is gone, kaput and as uninformative as your 50 little Hoovers.

State funding fight underscores Schumer-McConnell war

Right here is the problem.  Krugam thinks this is a two party problem when it is a two different scale problem. But more important, it is now a three color, the states will need to adopt three levels of scale.  So Krugman is going to yap endlessly thinking the world is a left right. No, the left right is a degeneration because the Federales do not have the scale adjustment bandwidth in their system. So politics is not helping at the moment and the more we are deluded the more likely we have the meeting of the elders.

Here is a clue Krugman:  Markov is the math behind Marx, he tells us that we do not scale in infinite amounts.

Slate is lousy at jurisprudence

Rather than making governors ascendant in the long run, however, the COVID-19 crisis is likely to make state governments trim the sails of their policy agendas for years. And it is likely to make states evermore dependent on the federal government. The COVID-19-triggered economic crisis is such that, absent aid from the federal government, states will suffer. But even if the federal government provides substantial amounts of aid to states and cities, there is a good chance it will come with conditions that will substantially undermine state independence. Trump, for his part, indicated on Twitter on Monday that he does not intend to provide the states the funding they desperately need without some kind of fight. “Why should the people and taxpayers of America be bailing out poorly run states,” he wrote. After this crisis is over, it’s likely federalism won’t look the same.
You have a bigger Constitutional issue.

The Federals cannot legally single out and differentiate states. They can only engage in interstate commerce regulation.  So, there is no such thing as bailing out the states except by dividing the dough by 50.    The Federals can provide municipal aid direct to municipalities as part of interstate commerce.

I suggest Slate get better brains on the task.

Flat earther?

Paul Romer says the US government should test every resident for the novel coronavirus every two weeks and isolate those who test positive if the country wants to revert to normal this summer.
A flat earther thinks we can scale in N, the number of agents. They do not close the circle and balance the conserved queues.  They can sometimes tell you what is true for bout two quarters, then their theories are for crap. Krugman does this, shows a portion of the latest results, in time value, then assumes this result extends to infinity. But if one closes the circles and examines the repetitive sequence then one finds the constraints. That is why I always need to look at the more complete sequence and discover the truth after being deceived.

So, Paul, publish some text and explain this. For example.  If you are vaccinated, you can still carry the virus, that is the definition of vaccinated. If you are vaccinates then you have seasonal immunity.  o, are we going to isolate the vaccinated?

No, the way it works is that the vaccinated run free, he has it reversed based on what? He wants the virus eliminated. The virologists disagree with him.

I doubt a life long flat earther is going to solve this problem. Most of the good models are non-relativistic, they solve the internal constraints and leave time out of the picture. The models that work use the three colored circle that I have describe over on the right in this blog.  That model is now the standard, and it closes the circle.  I have read these models, they work, they are simply the standard two color sandbox S/L trading pit, Really the three color central banking trading pit, as they include a third party, the triadic response, they move up the Markov one level.

Another:

Progressive groups call on Biden to remove Summers as economic adviser

The progressive do not like neo-liberalism. Neo-liberalism is an attempt to close the circle, balance the system based on finite N. Maybe the one time flat earthers closed the system..

I shouldn't have to discuss this, the pros are using the model better then me.

Drudge hammering Trump for nuttiness

Weeks of Trump virus briefings under microscope:

2 hours spent on attacks...

45 mins on self-congratulation...

ONLY 4 MINUTES ON CONDOLENCES FOR VICTIMS!

UPDATE: He abandons 'enemy' press conference -- but comes right back for more...

Trump is too bonehead for his own good. He is getting pissed at the rags, but still can't figure this stuff out.

Lower rates and more debt and recessions

The private sector knows more about the future than the public sector.

Let's look at the longer period and verify Krugman's discovery.

Same chart below. And we see the ten year consistently drops as we have periodic recessions and increase debt.

So what is causality? Let us add in real growth?

The next chart shows real growth which we presume the private sector is aware of. Note the real growth always drops prior to the recession, hence the drop in rates.
I dunno Krugman's point, or how this favors government borrowings in any fashion, but a flat earther would be confused. Right now that green line has dropped dramatically, the private sector firms know it, they are the one doing less borrowing.  It seems highly likely we change regimes when the private sector hits the skids.

It is a flat earther problem because the government sector, like Krugman, assumes programs scale properly in N, the number of participants. It does not, and it is not a two party problem, it is natural.
But the private sector cannot live without a future, and eventually the House will provide a future with a Fed regime change. Then we get mild stagflation, if it done right.

Krugman likes government bailouts after our regularly scheduled recessions, so does everyone.

I was marking Joe Biden's words

New York Cancels Dem Primary, Cuomo Says More Than 2.5 Million May Already Be Infected In NYC: Live Updates

And indeed, Joe Biden warned us about  canceling elections.

The Pompous one seems confused

To Pressure Iran, Pompeo Turns to the Deal Trump Renounced
The secretary of state is preparing an argument that the U.S. remains a participant in the Obama-era nuclear deal, with the goal of extending an arms embargo or destroying the accord.
Not sure what the confused idiot is up to.  The USA is not selling arms to Iran, they buy from others or make their own.  Nor am I sure what this bonehead thinks he can rescue from the Obama accords. it all seems a bit nutty to me, like our president.

I didn't read the article. I doubt anyone can elucidate any rationality out of this.

Constitution

Trump asks why taxpayers should help bail out blue states

Federal government has no way to do set asides for specific states, it is illegal in the Constitution and will be considered internal foreign policy, not any power granted or implied.

Federales can attempt a bailout nationwide pension funds, but that never passes without a bribe to state capitals, or an otherwise nightmare of an earmark process.

Empathy isn't sold by the gallon

Piers Morgan, whoever he is, makes a strategic error. The letter needed to be closed so no one remembers that Trump's empathy was purchased by Piers.

More small state mob:

GOP Governor Warns Trump: Stop Spreading ‘Misinformation’ About Coronavirus

In a sudden crisis, the small states cannot assemble the brains. his is again the flat earth problem, small states end up two colored instead of three colored. Markov explained a lost of this stuff much better than Marx ever could.

Flat earth problem

Warren Buffett would be the first to describe himself as a capitalist. And yet he has noted many times over the years that market forces have their limitations, and that the government plays a role particularly in addressing inequities that are created by our economy.\
The bean cones always assume N scales.
More flat earth:

JOE BIDEN: Corporate America is 'greedy as hell'

The politicians are flat earthers. Biden fails to realize the corporation agglomerate to match government, and that generally means Biden. It is the large banks that enable massive government debt, Biden could never do it without the primary dealers.
Flat earther vs flat earther:

Periodically, I get emails from some guy named Tim Congdon of the Institute of International Monetary Research, bewailing the tendency “to shrug off the inflation risks that have in the past arisen from too much monetary financing of large budget deficits.” So…big increases in the Fed’s balance sheet: will they collide with reduced supply over the medium run to produce inflation? TIPS say no…

Menzie and the opposition both get it wrong.  We get deflation until the N limit then we get regime change and a period of stagflation.  How come Menzie forges about the stagflation of the 70s? And now we can see why, the House reaches its bandlimit and agrees to a meeting of the elders.

Sandbox does the adaptation on a second by second basis, the House does it on a generation by generation basis. Another:

Big-government conservatives mount takeover of GOP
But there are good reasons to believe it will end as soon as the next Democrat wins the presidency.
They are talking Mark Rubio, who is generally clueless anyway. But this is about the small states problem, they have banded and are demanding federal adjustments.  Really another flat earth problem, or using Krgman's words, these are not 50 little Hoovers.

Nightmaresville

Anger in political circles, particularly in the Republican Party, has manifested itself in legislative proposals seeking to allow U.S citizens to sue China in American courts for the pandemic, calling for sanctions on Chinese officials
Former US ambassador to the UN and former South Carolina governor, Indian-American Nikki Haley, widely seen as a prospective last-minute vice-presidential nominee for a Trump second term, is among those pressing for action against Beijing. "China’s Communist government needs to be held accountable for their role in lying about the Coronavirus pandemic, and the US Congress needs to respond – now," Haley said in a STOP Communist China petition that received rousing endorsement in Republican circles this week.
Other US lawmakers want to go even further. In a precipitate suggestion, Haley’s fellow South Carolinian, Senator Lindsey Graham, who has President Trump’s ear, called for cancelling the more than $1 trillion in U.S treasury securities that China holds.

This fouls the process for creating a New Fed by contract. The defaults are fairly distributed, to those who hold and use the currency. The New Fed automates them for this specific reason, make the default sequence equally surprising with no hedges.  Do this and the stagflation is quite mild.

Senator Graham is fairly ignorant about quite a few things, and we would like t ding their state capital for giving us the bonehead. The beauty of reform, ignoracts like Graham get hammered by their guvs right away because his ignorance cost all states large money in the next trade. So we can see the two contracts are quite entertwined, sadly. We cannot get a sane Fed with a sane trade to remove the Graham's of the world.  Let the guvs deal with their own ignorant bums, leave the federales out of it.

Adaptive Markov

Neither the House, Senate or state capitals have sufficient banwdith to maintain partition. We know we are short N.  So we engage in continual adaption and the color rates for our three color is determined by the adapting encoding of the state, House and Senate events with the voter/taxpayer.

Sand box trading pits do this, keep a running encoding of S to L while maintaining bound variance at the pit boss. Sandbox runs a low enough Markov to be separable and no more, the second level up. But we can show quasi stability via the three principles, free entry/exit, round robin access to the bidding queues and bound market making risk. Quasi stable because it will step down incrementally without queue collapse, adiabatic, one node change at a time with round robin robin fair peeking.  Sandboxers know this quite well. Most of the major on line exchanges get this problem and can be quite stable.

So, given constant rates in the coloring problem, we can algorithmicly trim the factorial tree ex ante, this implies constant N. We should be able to write an algorithm to do that for any set of prime counters. Counters no sequentially prime will color some other object for the topologists to discover. I was doing a lot of finger counting, couldn't do seven, required two hands/.

435 Congressional districts, a constant

What does introducing a constant into the economy mean? Not sure, but here is another interesting fact.

50,000 car deaths was out limit.  55000 viet soldiers dead, 60,000 fewer people die in recession. 55,000 Corona deaths, 60000 fewer deaths in a recession..

At some number we put our foot down, or do we? Why would culture acquire a constant? Is it the number of complaints a Congress critter can mange? Is it related to the bandwidth of the office?

Consider AOC, quite deranged of late. Her bandwidth is consumed by her mom and pops wanting some cash.   It gets widespread, they hear about trillions in misspent defense money and flood their system. But N,, it is growing still.  AOC has the 'I am not taking this any more".

Then they get calls enormous about why the super wealthy get the inside deal on debt slinging. At some point we get a significant groups back there with the rebellion fever down. It is amorphous, muddy brown, and the two party system spend time underneath the sewage level back there.

It is not a rebellion, actually, just a sudden acceptance to have the meeting of the elders.  Johnson,Nixon; great boneheads of all time, leading to the meeting of the elders, or in Nixon's case, drinks and a gold repricing at the White House.

The solution, of course, the House needs to buy off the state capitals, as the Constitution implicitly specifies. Get the government out of the ear mark business. What these Congress critters are hearing mostly is the unfairness and bad policy of the ear mark business, get out of it. The House member then knows that much of those calls are bad Senate and should be referred back to the state capital where they are hedged. Abstract tree, constrained channel needs encoder, and this is the proper mechanism. The tree trunk is rounded, complaints then become equally independent events for all three parties. Pay off the state capitals, pay the price of the Constitution and quit adding states if it worries you. For economists we are adjusting the government value chain to make inventory stable.

The House applies energy from the taxpayer. The energy becomes the value chain hedge, the Senator is free to make government work without being pestered by the state capital and their interest groups. Makes it quite a bit more efficient, politicians getting paid for being a bit smarter and a bit more honest.
