I give you thought experiment.
Some blog, say this one, has a great idea for auto makers, raise price on light trucks for Q1, and sell truck Q2 pre-orders at discount. Each auto maker, thus, collectively defeating the recession committee by alternating quarters, until white noise christmas, 2017.
Remember, the recession dating committed has no due process, Sotomayor cannot save their ass. Not can they out hedge an economy at maximum entropy.
Did the automakers collude? No, they did the normal thing, searched google for collusion. In their effort, they discover a great collusion plot, mine, with no participants. The G-men are stumped.
