Forbes: Technology shows thrive on hype, and for a while it was the virtual reality headsets from hardware makers like Oculus and HTC that grabbed headlines at the world’s biggest shows for technology enthusiasts. But at this year’s Mobile World Congress, now wrapping up in Barcelona, the tone around VR has been muted.The number of virtual reality units on the stands has “fallen substantially” compared to last year, according to Richard Windsor, a technology analyst and founder of Radio Free Mobile who was at the show. “Last year, virtual reality was a novelty that everyone wanted to try, but interest has now waned as very little has changed in 12 months.”
The big thing is obviously sandbox, but Timy listened\ to the Flash Gordon kids instead.
