This Expansion Will End in a Fizzle, Not a Bang
My opinion is that what we do now is observably similar to what we did the last time, and before that. We might avoid coordination failure. But we avoid the worst when the generations get to the table and agree. Nothing else matters, really. Once the generations realize they have to deal, then all the other stresses go away, somewhat. Once the generations agree, most of the other government stuff gets priced.
