How to install a new syntax engine

At the console, the statement:

python  // Adding syntax perfectly ok

Should work, when pipes are up or when Python is compiled as a shared.

The console loop puts itself in syntax mode, essentially allowing Python to control the command line, both input and output.  Python has access to all the symbol tables on the Bus, it can directly feed Xchars, for example, (all snippets generally use the fast symbol table).  Python has access to the Console Loop symbol table, So Python can set up command line macros.

Python is on the Bus, all the snippets have universal interfaces, Python need only know a bit about the command sequence for any given snippet. Console loop designed this in, or more honestly, I kept all this in mind when doing the code. You will note that Default does all its language interpretation right on the command line, assembly code are executable linux commands for the Default snippet, is a good way to put it.  That means Python or Go, have access to the shunt system, can handle the cursor manager, run xchars, and can use Hardly stack codes when that is available. More importantly, we will get the join system up and running as a set of snippets, better approach than Tensor flow for AI.

The system has namespaces because the snippets use high speed packed char symbols, as good as call set up.  We can adapt our file expression syntax for reuse as a namespace selector.

All this stuff packs right in, mostly re-entrant, I dunno how many times ExecCommand makes recursive calls, 20 30 deep as it executes default assembly right off the args list.  This approach, I am convinced, will out do MS Power shell in a minute, and the packed char symbol table concept, universal interface will drive the snippet industry to long term growth.  I know, I am the snippet pro, there was never a code too short for me.  The entire approach is to get functions up, and running within the enterprise namespace almost right away, console loop even accepts code that crashes, just fine with console loop.

I have not even touched on the possibilities with multi-process access to a single, infinitely long args list, the idea that a code can walk the line of all corporate resources in linear fashion is fairly eye catching.

Nor is this idea far fetched from advanced shells being developed in the industry, and I look.  Good stuff out there, I steal ideas all the time.  My plea is simple, let us ripen the ideas a bit, talk about what all these shells might have in common.

Taiwan is already independent

China's Xi says Taiwan independence would be disaster, calls for peaceful 'reunification'

And they can remain independent as long as your idiot military relies on defenseless mud piles in the South China Sea.  You, Mr. Ping Pong, are a delusional commie.  Your father was a ping pong table.

Incoming GOP Senator Romney Rips Trump for ‘Glaring’ Shortfalls

Romney is himself full of crap.

His thing is being the big hero and saving the world while California tax payers foot the bill. But he would never be elected in California, we are not into massive military adventures around the world and we think Romney is an idiot and do not plan on paying for all the government crap he orders up.

Linux shells everywhere

A curated list of awesome command-line frameworks, toolkits, guides and gizmos. Inspired by awesome-php.

Some of them approach the idea of a universal interface with utility to set up argv, like tokenize. A few of them have their own scripting language built in. So I am not some loner on the job, I suspect we will all get this right and compete with MS PowerShell.
I m still designing for loadable syntax languages, Default is not the language for enterprise semantics, Python or Golang work for that, even a simple c interpreter can work. So I stick with the goal, Defaulot is two hundred lines of code we carry to get us up and around before we load the real syntax engines.

Anyway, competition makes this work, competition creates standards.

Slowing down

I need time so the rest of the linux community can figure out IPython, Console loop, Default, and the rest.

It is not clear that the console window need be replaced with a browser, as iPython does. I think xchars is the better approach.  And I need to see some other architectures dealing with interleaved commands and sequence.

The intent is to let the standard develop for this, not really force it. I am simply trying to predict what is in or out, like upgrading file expressions, using universal interface, etc.

But macros are in in Default.  Cannot see how to avoid them, so I worked the software till macros were robust again.  I generally foul something up early in the chain when I fix something later in the chain.

No code posted, I am not posting code until something is completely tested, from now on.

It starts

But the largest portion of consumer debt is student debt. Yes, Americans have borrowed $1.5 TRILLION to earn degrees of questionable use.
As I wrote in a previous Notes:
According to the latest stats, the average student loan debt in the US is nearly $40,000.
But that’s just average…
There are more than two million former students in the Land of the Free with more than $100,000 of debt… around 415,000 people have more than $200,000 of student debt.
And the US Department of Education guarantees 90% of that debt. Which means you, the taxpayer, guarantee that debt. If the borrower defaults, YOU’RE on the hook.
What are the chances millennials will make good on the debt? Not great…
According to a recent Fed study, millennials are much poorer and indebted than previous generations.
So, if millennials cannot pay their student debt then how can the pay the interest on the national deb?  Forgiving the loans simply transfers the liability to government, and as we have noted, and others have noted, boomers are retiring; boomers are skipping out on Federal interest payment.

We have the France problem, the Brexit problem, the Italy problem; debtors are now beginning to repudiate their government debt. We do this once a generation, why not make it an expected tradition? Boomers done it in 1971, the previous generation done it under FDR (and had a war too!), now it is time for millennials to repudiate, the sooner the better so that we can prepare.

Minimum wage hikes cause price hikes

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — At Granny Shaffer’s restaurant in Joplin, Missouri, owner Mike Wiggins is reprinting the menus to reflect the 5, 10 or 20 cents added to each item.
A two-egg breakfast will cost an extra dime, at $7.39. The price of a three-piece fried chicken dinner will go up 20 cents, to $8.78. The reason: Missouri’s minimum wage is rising.

Wiggins said the price hikes are necessary to help offset an estimated $10,000 to $12,000 in additional annual pay to his staff as a result of a new minimum wage law taking effect Tuesday.
Increasing prices cause increasing interest charges, helping the  economists  bit, unless you are one of those Magical Fed economists. 20 states have raised the minimum wage, likely pushing half our inflation rate.

We have a choice. Some economists would have the Fed operate off equilibrium, leading to boom and bust cycles.  Some economists have figured out that it is not nice to force our accounting system off track.

Chinese Admiral Wants To "Sink Two US Aircraft Carriers" Over South China Sea

Your forward bases consist of piles of mud in the South China Sea. You cannot do shit from those, and they are defenseless.  You are an ignorant bombastic nut, Mr. Admiral.

Foreigners earn the interest charges

CBO estimates imply that TCJA will boost incomes for foreign investors but not for Americans
But here’s the kicker:  CBO figures that most of that additional capital will be financed by foreigners—for example, from overseas corporations building factories in the U.S., or foreign investors buying U.S. stocks and bonds. As a result, net payments of profits, dividends, and interest to foreigners also will rise. Unlike GDP, the GNP subtracts those net payments to foreigners from domestic production. GNP therefore provides a better measure of the impact on U.S. incomes. CBO projects that tax bill will boost GNP by just 0.1 percent in 2028.

And millennials pay them.
The problem is Treasury debt, as long as politicians run up thr treasury debt, then all the new output goes to pay interest charges.   This does not compute,we know how much money the millennials have, not much.

Accompanied by massive interest charges

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to vote on Thursday on a funding package to end the 10-day-old partial U.S. government shutdown, without providing the $5 billion President Donald Trump has demanded for a U.S.-Mexico border wall.

But, according to Nancy, the millennials are perfectly willing to pay.
