Justice Roberts, in an amazing extension of rights, wants to grant artificial persons fundamental legal rights in the case of Citizens United vs Federal Government. Why he took the case, or why he didn't remand it back to contracts court is beyond me.
It would take a tremendously ignorant law professor to accept that somewhere in the Constitution that artificial beings have rights. Anybody know of a tremendously ignorant law professor?
