Obama rejected the House budget proposal. Obama has a point. The House funded the military for the rest of the year, and the other stuff for a week. If the Tea Party was about small government, they should have voted to pull troops back, away from the fronts of our many flung wars. The Tea Party is about big government after all. I wonder if Connecticut will take a break from declaring wars during the shutdown?
Anyway, out here in California we have another 6 weeks before Lockyer, our treasurer, pulls out the laser printer prints up money. California government should get a prize for outlasting Congress.
I expect horrid things will happen to me in my basement. Most likely, one of the Islamic Belt Bombers will slip through the Federal net and belt bomb me for calling Muhammed a child molester. I am going to burn a Quran today and test the limits.
