As the state budget shortfall grows, there is increased liability on houses due to the property tax. In Fresno the risk to housing due to unfunded pension decisions made 15 years ago is real. Our county supervisors, all still in office, are watching their city disappear because of ignorant decisions they made, and they knew these decisions were ill founded at the time.
