If I remember correctly it was our own military who had no intention is sending 8,000 troops from Iraq into Iran. The odds of winning were against us. Remember it took a half million to invade Iraq from Saudi Arabia. Every step of the way I kept hearng from military sources that they were not prepared for the sudden switching f sides in the Middle East wars.
