ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A former Air Force intelligence analyst was sentenced to 45 months in prison on Tuesday for leaking top secret information about the U.S. government’s drone strike program to a journalist.
Daniel Hale of Nashville, Tennessee, has said he was motivated by guilt when he disclosed to an investigative reporter details of a military drone program that he believed was indiscriminately killing civilians in Afghanistan far from the battlefield.
This is almost at crisis levels, even the cartels are killing their foes with drones. I have been telling folks about this ongoing crisis for years, detailing the problem of securing civilian drones, explaining that the NSA has been enabling unsecured drones with their spy policies. I have not revealed any secret not known by most software pros.
Why is this guy going to jail? Why not arrest the entire executive suite at Google, they have been faking the issue to protect ad sales. What are ads on search engines except drones without wings?
The topic is open for discussion, the NSA reads my blog, they know there is no cause for my arrest.
