“I hope the Ukrainians will match the heroism they have shown with wisdom,” Kissinger warned an audience at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, adding with his famous sense of realpolitik that the proper role for the country is to be a neutral buffer state rather than the frontier of Europe.
His previous idea was the we should return Alaska to the Russians for pace.
The underlying argument, now, is that the West and Russia need a reasonable, strong and sane Russian army, all true. If Kissinger wants to save Russia than I would suggest the USA start taking action against Chechnya, they are the main threat to Russian stability. Putin's destruction is all driven by fear of the Chechen hit squads which Putin has made fashionable in Russia. Even Russian generals fear the appearance of Chechen strong men shooting up them and their families.
Think, this is like Kamala taking power and working with Mexican drug cartels out of California.
