Location based routing in mobile vehicle networks

Back to my technical job:

Vehicular ad hoc networks.

For the good of the economy, the engineers are figured out how to ensure communications among the autobots and traffic infrastructure.   This tells me that we can reliably keep communications between autonomous traffic and traffic management. We call it VANET. Vehicular Ad hoc NETwork.  A location based link layer is being tested which I think will form the basis of vehicle communications.  For traffic planners, this means simple, easy to install repeaters in the traffic system, as well as a simple to understand architecture about which to build the digitally enhanced transportation network.  For the investors, it means that investment in VANET vendors now makes a lot of sense.
