They are called XSL files, and go with XML causing the XML nodes to be transformed into something that the browser can deal with, html tags. W don;t need the transformation if we have the xml stored in an SQL compatible database engine.
OK, I hereby patent the idea. I am dumping xsl entirely, I think. The application I am looking at is genealogy, a natural candidate for xml tags. But I don't see genealogy clients messing around with xsl, but they surely want to mess around with SQL.
