Kevin points to this chart and claims austerity killed the recovery because there were no government jobs created.
Who failed to create government jobs?
After all, Obama and the DC Keynesians ran up 7 trillion in debt. So why no government jobs?  The government jobs were stolen from the states. Look at the chart below which is all government jobs minus the federal jobs.  Note that all those great government jobs created by the previous presidents were state and local jobs.


The blue line on the left show very cleary that Obama and his 7 trillion was pure robbery from the states.  Up in the right cornet, the blue line dips, dramatically.  Those are local government jobs lost by Obama because he favors spending in DC.
