Murders happen in crowded cities

In studies related to population density, count borders are not good delimiters.  Instead, if you need to know where murders happen, look to dense cities where 80% of the population lives, and then you ignore most of the counties as insignificant to the study.

Dig deeper and we find that a majority of murders occur around neighborhood killing zones, gang wars with ongoing gun battles.
