I buy into the semantic, I am convinced. The standard wallet is handheld, then a standard web wallet, then the custodial wallet sits on the web.
I request a custodial wallet at my favorite pipeline controlled escrow router. I imbue all the protocols contained there in with power of attorney. The trading protocols are public source, I have prior confidence and trust the notary system. My wallet holds my pre-qualifications. But nowhere did I give custodial cash to a third party.
Custodial wallets make the notary business much simpler for the complex trader.. Not necessarily for the retail customer. But, mobile wallet, web wallet, custodial wallet; I like them all, pipeline enabled or not.
