Federal tax receipts, one for one with inflation

 

Yes, I noticed this a while ago, but looked again after the recent price hikes.

I can guess here, the Federales have all the choice tax base. Now Congress is stuck with making revenue sharing work.

Revenue sharing may not be possible with the econs going beserk about it. Something has to give.
