What were oil prices in 2018?

 

JPM points out that we are retracing back to 2019 in oil shortage.

Prices were 70 bucks back then, but we have had inflation in those Texas oil fields. So, indeed a 85 dollar price is withing reach.  

But consumers already are slowing at 80 bucks.  Real growth for Q3 is coming in below one percent.
