Server networking in a restaurant

One of the fun things to do with your own semantic server is to share data tables like book marks with friends, over the smart tablets. Always fun to use the secure transmission package, then your friends can do Json queries on your tables, every smart phone a server. In the restaurant, the owner has her own smart phone semantic server, has a table of menus, readable at all times. If this machine takes of, so will Qson format, everyone will want the raw form, the fastest native format.

OK, this energy thing

I would focus my science on two things, in the near term. 1) Get solar efficiency at a reliable an cost effective 10%, in sunny regions. 2) Focus on clean factory, nanotech powered, seawater filtration and production of methanol. Get efficiency up above 50%.

Outdoor nanotech is farther behind than solar panel to electric. Do factory methanol production as the optimum energy storage for solar electric. But indoor, high efficiency nanotech assisted methanol production might arrive sooner than we expect. We want to jump on that. Factories with electric power can supply capacitive coupling to aid the movement of charge. The key ingredient will be these caged catalysts metals, in sheets. They carry charge, they can rotate charge back to an exit port. The variety of ways to make sheet of vertical graphene tubes is growing. The constraint is keeping the impurities out of the process, high flow, very clean methanol factories oceanside.

So what is all this Windows 8 Hypervisor stuff?

It is a couple of things, the first being a stab at VMware. This technology is yet another layer, but a better layer as the soft3ware is stacked up. Mainly, if you want to support muktipe operating system on one machine, then you can present he hardware on a more bare basis, and and let each OS keep their driver code. That is a short hand idea. Oe more layer, but a better organization of layers over all.

What does it mean to the semantic processor? I can get a third party B Tree, built to operate closer to the hardware. That is, my B Tree can appear to Windows 8 like a complete OS, with its own drivers. So the B Tree manager sits much closer to hardware, the grammar is sped up. But, you know, hardly noticeable. I mean, the technology of the semantic processor, fast intelligent, but it will turn a smart phone into a wireless server. It has such great utility, comes with its own security, and its own layer; it runs anywhere.

Entanglement

I was thinking about that politically. The only politician who ever got the problem was Jerry Brown, his Jesuit training. But it is becoming a big deal in economics for good reason, we may function, mainly, by allowing ourselves to get entangled. You know, Shannon implies an entanglement, a subtle adjustment process that keeps the -iLog(i) in line.

Anyway, the neuro guys are confirming it, partially with left/right brain research. But ask yourself, what is the minimum daily habit that results in sustained household flow. Its the entangled habit, the habit in which we exclude coutervailing irregularities. In the brain that is a inhibition, a feedback neural route that represses irregular input. The idea, frankly, is to count out the day with the fewest number of bits, its a comfortable life style being a four bit computer.

How's my struggle with ATT going you ask?

I think we almost have a race.  The bozo runing the ATT gift card scam has to send me my gift card so I can pay on line, because the other bozo running Uverse has shut down all the unauthorized payment systems, while the third bozo, Mr. Donovan himself is about to get his ass sued by Eric Holder.  So, I dunno, a lot of this is out of my hands.

What would I do if I were Mr. Donovan. Open the source to my on line payment, and offer any group of programmers a half million to make 9 digit Uverse numbers work at generic payment systms, like pronto.

It just occurred to me

I shouldn't be insulting Las Vegas billionare casino owners, these are the folks that will fund the Ultra High Speed BRT to LA, the 140 MPH 200 passenger road express.

A look at the economic constraint

This is percent change in CPI-U and percent change in WTI oil. Look what happened since 2000, the two measures begin correlating.  Prior to that, inflation was correlated with two or three constraints.  How do I know? Because we only measure the three or four constraints. its too costly to start measuring the fifth constraint.

So, you got about 90% of the correlation is real between the unit of account and the flow of goods. Or, the variation in inventories among all goods in optimum flow, including money, will be related to the flow of three or four constraints. You divide that into two or three major constraints we deal with, you have at best 30-40% of the correlation between each of three major inputs and real goods flow.

This chart, since 2001, shows oil has been taking about 85-95% of the available variation, we are tuned to oil, oil is money; and that is a constraint on the economy. You cannot fake this.  The problem was exacerbated by having one war too many.

Look what has happened in the last year, they diverge again, that is us adapting,  that is why we had a recent soft landing. A watched pot never boils.

Here is the solution, solve this equation:
Seawater plus sunlight equals methanol.  That is the shortest path out of the mess and it likely buys us 50 years, at least.  Also, robotic transportation, that will buy you ten years.

Stockton voters should pay attention to the crooks running for office

‘Ponzi Scheme’
“There was no money set aside to fund those commitments,” Stockton City Manager Bob Deis told Capital Public Radio in reference to $760 million in city debt and unfunded liabilities. “While that was a legal decision they made over 20 years, it was an unsound decision and it has similarities to a Ponzi scheme.”
Blaming past councils, Deis pointed to a health-care plan that pays the entire cost of care for every city employee and spouse for life, after only one month on the job. “In my 32 years of managing finances for various local governments, I have never heard of a situation like this,” he added.
As Bloomberg News reported, the city “granted employees some of the state’s most generous benefits, and now has 94 retirees with pensions of at least $100,000 a year -- more than twice as many as some comparably sized California cities.” Bloomberg

You should be able to tell when your politician is running a scam, then speak up. California politicians are corrupt, always remember that.

Which individual lost their first amendment rights George Will"?

The court’s unremarkable logic was that individuals do not forfeit their First Amendment speech rights when they come together in corporate entities or unions to speak collectively. What is the constitutional basis for saying otherwise? WA Post
Every  individual in the United Citizens complaint had exacty the same, limited rights as any other indiviudal in passing around media during election times. No one on the Citizens United goup ever claimed that they were personally disallowed from publishing a film.  George Will, you make things up, then call is proof. Go back to school.

Nor, Don Boudreaux, did George gibe any defense of Citizen's Unit6ied, the paragaph above is alol he said, everything else was about campaign spending in general.  o, Don Bourdreaux, did any individual in the case claim to have lost personal righhts.  As far saw the court evidence is concerned, no individual in that case, from the Judge to the journalists to the plaintiffs ever made the case they they had lost personal rights. Don Boudreaux, it is socialism to invent thing in Washington DC that are not true.

This was a corporate contract issue be6ween Congress and a corporation, individual, constitutional rights were never even discussed.  The whole godamned point of the case was there was no individual rights complaints, that is why it is made up law, Socialism, design from the center. A ruling no libertarian would ever support.

John Donovan and ATT idiocracy

According to a story in the Wall Street Journal, which quotes AT&T exec John Donovan, the company is looking at charging app developers for the data consumers use while playing with their apps. Donovan likened it to a 1-800-style service where users could download the app without the data usage being charged on the consumer’s bill. Instead, an app developer would pay for the downloaded bits. From the WSJ story. Giga.com

Idiots at ATT. Like how stupid is this to chase down an app developer and charge him for data used by someone else? This is like ATT Uverse group shutting down all the unauthorized payment centers then wondering why Uverse customers cannot pay their bill. Or it explains by these idiots use their monopoly power to get into the credit card business. It is this guy, John Donovan, when is he going to be fired? Shareholders?

Why isn't ATT being sued by Holder, as we speak, for anti-trade constraints?
