What got me going about fresh water

I fear that it was missing as a valuable liquid in my economics. I got to looking at the Great lake region! Why are they so generous?

I spent time in Minnesota, and the water is great fun in the summer, except for the mosquitoes.  I was a kid, hanging out with a cousin who lived in the region, hanging out on a lake pier.  This like 2.5 foot Great Northern comes swimming by.  My cousin grabs a shoelace and safety pin; swats a giant horsefly, and a minute later owns the fish.  I kid you not.
