At a press conference today, Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly asked the unknown victim of a 2002 sexual assault committed by Jerry Sandusky to come forward.
That's the saddest part of this horrible and terrifying scandal: no one at Penn State bothered to figure out who the kid was.
Mike McQueary, the graduate assistant who saw Sandusky having sex with the 10-year-old victim in the shower of a PSU athletic facility, never followed up.
The athletic director, who was told about the incident and promised to launch a full investigation into the case, never did.
And Joe Paterno, who was told about the crime a day after it happened, never did.
