Why so small? The brains in G itself is really part of the grammar and the G loop just executes off off the bottom of the results loop.

Everything else is an agreement between SQL engineers, mainly about what state information they should leave on the last result node, after a stop condition on some long winded SQL. Their agreement results in SQL that G execution unit itself can use.
