Krugman talking about the Socialist Tea Party, they get most of the socialism. The chart below maps the government goodies the small state Tea Party socialists get, That is what the Tea Party is about, protecting their government goodies.
The whole point Krugman misses is that these are irregular sample sizes, that is the beginning and end point, non regular sample sizes. Whatever the central government does, and the math that liberals use to track central government will immediately be skewed, because representation in Congress is irregular, heterooskedatic, non stationary, fricked up.
The main fix to the problem is democracy, frankly, democracy forces ignorant economists to use regular sample sizes because the damn voting districts will be regular sample sizes. Anybody getting the picture here?
