Yes, indeed. Just after the big government repubs passed a whopper of a budget, old McConnell went a hunting for at least some of the same welfare bums to increase my tax payer debt payments and send the economy into a tail spin.

Find me a time when the repubs did not run up the debt. You can go all the way back to Reagan, each and everyone of these welfare bum repub presidents had no other desire then to drive up spending to mammoth highs and run up the debt.  It is in their platform, I think, article 1:
