The patent bullshit is day by day

Among the interesting patents is one that specifically focuses on home kitchen automation with gesture controls similar to the interface of Microsoft’s Kinect technology. The application proposes a “method for providing interactive kitchen activity” including a “computer controlled video image projector” and a “electro-optical sensor for observing at least one person working in said kitchen” and “projecting images of interest to said person.”
This is a case of a patent using gesture technology in the kitchen. What was the scientific research that led to this discovery? They carried a Microsoft Xbox from the living room to the kitchen.

jeez, I Better get that patent for the bathroom right away, if that is not good enough I need one for the toilet. Can I Get a patent that says gesturing toward the toilet is protected?

The patent office better watch out because I am going to patent gesturing in the patent office.
